Post a single screenshot. Not a long website. You can't post full res. The forums automatically reduce the resolution on upload.

Diversion Diversion 5.0 ad blocking sample; very happy with user experience

Those images are still impossibly small/low resolution to read (just showing a thin/long strip).

Intermittent problem with DHCP offering 10.x addresses when configured for 192.x

After flashing RMerlin firmware, did you perform a full reset to factory defaults? Ideally, using multiple methods (i.e. WPS Button, Reset Button, and via the GUI, including checking the 'Initialize all settings...' box? Did you import any old backup config files afterward? Did you plug in...

    Release ASUS RT-AX68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24646 (2024/02/26)

Yes, they don't. Harvard Business Review reprinting a professor of psychology paper from 2006 on business matters they know nothing of is not proof of anything business-related. I believe Asus knows best how to run their business. Consumers need to educate themselves, not get frustrated at...

    Release ASUS RT-AX68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24646 (2024/02/26)

Most likely, a full reset to factory defaults is required once you flash the latest firmware. This will ensure that the new firmware is seeing and using the defaults it expects. Simply flashing the latest firmware is not enough to properly evaluate it (at least, sometimes).

    BE98 Latency

The latency on tech hardware doesn't directly relate/compare with the differences that humans can sense. Regardless of the 'theory'. I have customers who can sense smaller differences than me and others who don't see gross differences in network (and computer) performance. People vary, and...

    Asus RT-AC5300 and ExpressVPN

Welcome to the forums @BRASUS. Yes, depending on many factors, that sounds like it's in the ballpark. (i.e. it may be normal).

Why? Download OpenVPN and use that instead.

Explain IP pools to me like i'm seven years old

Don't use the PPTP protocol. It is obsolete and insecure.

    Release ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.386_51685 (2024/04/15)

Yes, Asus does rolling updates to its various websites. This is normal.

RT-AX86U - Find Which Device is Connected to Which LAN Port

Disconnect it and see what isn't working. Most likely a TV or gaming console.

    ASUS Unveils RT-BE88U WiFi 7 Dual-Band Router

There is no router with a 'monster' CPU. All are underpowered, IMO. Sure, up to 30% faster (nominally) for this latest round of hardware, but that just speaks of how bad they were (and still are).

    RP-AX58 Disconnects

Yes, 1 foot is too close. Why would you need a wireless backhaul AiMesh node at 1 foot? Test at acceptable ranges only. Note that depending on your wall/floor construction, 50' and 75' may be too far for a stable connection.

Yup, always find a way to blame the hardware. User error is never an issue. ;)

    RP-AX58 Disconnects

1 Foot is too close. How far away is it (and how many/type obstacles in between) when it disconnects? Did you try different Control Channels on the main router?

So in the end, it was the cable! :)
