OpenDNS. How to avoid clients to use another DNS to the ones provided by the router?

Hi all. I managed to set my RT-AC66U with DNSOMATIC and OpenDNS. Everything works correctly. My question is whether you can further adjust the router configuration so that if clients try to use a different DNS, the router will force them to use their own. I have read about filtering...

OPENDNS Is Always "waiting for first update" from DNSOMATIC

Solved After many attempts. I managed to set it up properly. There was no problem. The only difficulty was with hostname that should be "all.dnsomatic.com" instead of my own DDNS name You can close the thread and mark it as solved. Thank you very much for your interest.

OPENDNS Is Always "waiting for first update" from DNSOMATIC

Thanks for your quick reply. Mine has taken longer because I've been doing some tests. At end, I managed to install DD-WRT on the router (which does not work as well as your firmware) for testing purposes. The fact is DNSOMATIC updated from DD-WRT without problems. Could not indicate...

    Synology DS-209+ review up!!

Yes DSM 2.2 functionality is all the same for all units "except" the new R/W speeds that changes for every unit it is installed on. You have updated the 209 & 209+ throughput but you did not update the 409 & 409+ speeds in charts, and speed really increases a lot at least with 409+ witch I...

    Synology DS-209+ review up!!

Hi Tim Thanks for your fast posting. I saw that one. In fact, that one took me to buy that unit :-) I meant a "new" review with the new incredible DSM 2.2-0942 O.S. from Synology witch takes 409+ that unit to an upper throughput level I'm sorry with my horrible english.

    Synology DS-209+ review up!!

Hi all How long will I have to wait for a "new" DS409+ review? I have one unit, with the new incredible Synology DSM 2.2-0942 firmware, the reading speed (with jumbo 9K and RAID5 and very large files) has been increased from 55-60 MB/s to 85-90 MB/s. It's really really fast !!! :)...
