    3.0.0.4.374.5656 fixes 3G Dongles Huawei ?

I am trying to understand when/how NCM-NDIS actually broke. The switch from 374 to 376 branch seems to be the point in time, as @plun already found out: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/3-0-0-4-374-5656-fixes-3g-dongles-huawei.17001/post-129044 By comparing the source code of the two branches...

    sendmail script

It's not only about "default". They are completely phasing out "less secure apps": https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6010255?hl=en

    sendmail script

App passwords require 2-factor authentication turned on. I would rather not leak my phone number to Google.

    sendmail script

Does anyone know any successful shell/bash implementation of OAUTH2 authentication? Google is phasing out "less secure apps" on May 30th. Only alternative is turning on 2-factor authentication OR managing an OAUTH2 script.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 4G modems support

Yes I do. By the way, it couldn't even work in NCM since I've set the modem to "FF;10,12".

4G key and HDD at the same time

Looking at the log I was wondering if the E3276 showing up as sdcard/cd-rom/modem at the same time is somehow misleading for the router. Indeed, it is. Problem solved by disabling on the E3276 all ports, but modem and PCUI. See here for details: https://superuser.com/a/1374158 No more detection...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 4G modems support

Yes that's what I should do, but I'm too lazy and it's already a huge improvement over my previous 3g connection. ;) Firmware version 380.70 = no NDIS support. The modem is a Huawei E3276, so 150Mbps.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 4G modems support

PPP/RAS appears to be a bit faster than that, at least in my case. Here are a couple of tests on different networks: I have to say that most of the times it's lower than that though, about 25-30 Mb/s. This is the night time performance. During the day it's sometimes even slower, but I...

4G key and HDD at the same time

Hello, I use an officially supported 4g key (E3276) as my primary and only WAN interface with my RT-AC68U running Merlin v380.70. It looks I can't connect my E3276 (non-Hilink) and my external HDD at the same time to the usb ports of my router. If I do that, most ot the times (but not always) my...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 4G modems support

What's the speed cap when using PPP (non-HiLink) mode? My router is an RT-AC68U. Out of curiosity, is the speed cap related to the cpu power? Thanks

uiDivStats uiDivStats - WebUI for Diversion statistics

Sorry for the dumb question. I have a router of mine on an old firmware release (should be 380.70 if I'm not mistaken). Can I assume this script is totally incompatible or is it worth trying to force installation? Any insight on uiDivStats' prerequisites? Thank you very much

Thank you guys! It just works.

    Primary usb-wan DNS

The firmware is very stable for me. And I have read on the internet that my problem is well known, but I haven't found a solution. Just some hints by @ColinTaylor here: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/dsl-ac68u-not-resolving-dns.40606/#post-341385 Anyway, I've done a factory reset a month ago...

    Primary usb-wan DNS

Hello, my primary (and only) WAN is my 3G dongle. It looks there is no custom DNS setting available in the GUI with this setup. The fw versione is 380.70 and the router is an RT-AC68U. How could I set a custom DNS with my setup? I've tried the following nvram entries: usb_wan_dns1_x=8.8.8.8...

Glad that it's working. Credits to @Martineau. I've updated post number 1.

    [GUIDE] Installing aMule with Entware

Yes, sorry, my services-start looks different. Probably because I'm on an older firmware. This should work: #!/bin/sh script="/opt/etc/init.d/rc.unslung" i=60 until [ -x "${script}" ] do i=$(($i-1)) if [ "$i" -lt 1 ] then logger "Could not start Entware"...

    [GUIDE] Installing aMule with Entware

Perhaps, your hard disk is not yet mounted, when init-start is executed. Try this other route. Delete init-start. And edit services-start in the following way: #!/bin/sh ... chmod -x /opt/etc/init.d/S57amuled /opt/etc/init.d/rc.unslung start chmod +x /opt/etc/init.d/S57amuled ... Of course the...

    [GUIDE] Installing aMule with Entware

Good idea. Probably the best solution. It's slow, indeed. But every now and then I use it for rare songs that I can't find with any torrent. It's slow, but you always find what you search.

    [GUIDE] Installing aMule with Entware

I suggest that you don't delete/edit "S57amuled", because it not only starts aMule at boot, but also properly shuts it down on reboot. You could instead put the following lines at the end of "/jffs/scripts/services-start": sleep 60 /opt/etc/init.d/S57amuled stop This way aMule will start at...

Samba share some directories with account, some without account

Graphically. With Dolphin in Mint KDE, with Nautilus in Ubuntu.
