    Wan drops from 1000 to 100

    Fixed for now. I set the router to reboot daily and so far all good. It would have been nice to reboot only when link drops to 100mbps but I don't know how to do that. Already changed the cable; I do not have user access to the modem (Huawei HG8240H).

    Cable is Cat5e. Works for a few days at 1000mbps and then drops to 100mbps. That is why, as a workaround, I need a script to reboot the router when link speed drops to 100mbps.

    OpenVPN performance

    I overclocked the CPU to 1100mhz. It shows great speed improvement on openssl speed benchmark aes-128 cbc, but the speed is still capped at approx. 25mbps :( So it is not limited by CPU or bandwidth. What else could it be?

    Any updates? I have the same problem with the OpenVPN server running on my ac68u, latest Merlin firmware. Using a 100/100mbps connection on both sides I get approx. 25mbps speed, one CPU core is at 60% and the second is at 0% usage. I did a test to make sure its not a bandwidth problem...

    Hi, can you provide a step by step (noob friendly) tutorial on how you made it work? All I managed to do was to install entware: entware-setup.sh and OpenVPN: opkg install openvpn-openssl I have no clue what to do next. Thank you!
