    Thanks for posting that. I have been tinkering off and on for the last year with my ac87u (see my post upthread). This finally did the trick... somewhat. as far as assignment of guests to xx.xx.10.*, 11.*, 12.* and so forth, the IPs being assigned are defaulting to what the router DHCP...

    Dragging up an old topic... I used a nearly identical configuration file, verifying via ifconfig that the guest network I was trying to assign dhcp leases to was wl0.1, went and assigned dns servers to Google 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4... Defined the range of IP addresses I wanted to make available...

    Thanks for the feed back on your firmware merlin. When I searched I didn't realize this thread was in your firmware subforum. I figured the new chip for the other band is the complicating factor, hopefully asuswrt will support it soon enough, and subsequently, you.

    So, i dont really know why WPA2-Enterprise is not enabled on the 5 GHz band. this kind of pissed me off, considering the way i wanted to set up my home network, especially since the router is advertised as supporting this method of security (WITHOUT any mention that the 5 GHz band is excluded)...
