    rt-ac87u antenna orientation theories?

    Not sure how they could guarantee that there would be a ground-plane under it if they were end-fed. Seems like that would be kind of a problem for people that didn't set the device on a couple square-feet of metal. I just always assumed that the connector on the end fed some transmission-line...

    Issues running two RT-AC87U

    I gave up on this issue. Replaced them with two Nighthawk X6 units in AP mode and the problem vanished immediately. I had a pair of N56s that I upgraded to N66s that I upgraded to AC87s. Yeah, I was their dream consumer. Now I have $600 worth of doorstops. Not likely to buy another ASUS...

    ISSUE with multiple RT-AC87x as APs

    Yep. +1 and all that. I've had two AC87R units in AP mode since I bought them in September, and at least 3-5 times a week one of them will suddenly go nuts and jam the entire network with traffic. Pretty much kills everything on the network at that point (no pun intended.) Happened again...
