So I flashed the last 384.18 firmware. Now I have the 160MHz option. I thought that was reserved for AX models?

[Help] 5GHz radio dying on RT-AC66U_B1 running Merlin 384.18 firmware...

Interestingly I had the same issue with ac88u. I got suddenly problems with 4 Ethernet ports not being available. Restart didn't help but unplugging the power and plugging again solved the issue with the ports. Then the 5GHz problems started. Exactly same as you have. The reboot solved it. Still...

    AC88U - Wireless Problems (deauth)

Just to pitch in my team experience. I had major problems with 2.4Ghz. Some devices would work poorly, some would not connect at all. Same as everyone else posting in this thread. I tried everything and I mean everything. At the end I sent it back. After waiting for 3 weeks I got a completely...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.13 is now available

I tried .14 on my 88U and got lots of issues from some devices. The worst was Xiaomi Aqara Hub. It kept loosing connection all the time. And when it connected the app keep putting up a warning that WiFi connection is very bad. Putting back previous version .13 made everything perfect again...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.9 is now available

I solved the problem I've been having with Squeezbox Boom. The problem was in the router (RT-AC88U). After changing every single option I could think of that could influence 2.4 GHz network and nothing had helped, I changed 'Group Key Rotation Interval' from 3600 to 3000. Squeezbox connected...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.9 is now available

@RMerlin so I tried everything to connect my Squeezbox Boom to RT-AC88U. I've reset the router by holding the reset button for 5 seconds to reset the router to factory settings. I then created a new SSID with the new name and tried to reconnect the Squeezbox Boom. Still same error "wireless...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.9 is now available

I will at the end definitely do that. I just want to know why this happened, so it will not happen again in the future. Maybe it is unrelated to whatever I configured.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.9 is now available

I still have problems connecting my Squeezebox Boom via WiFi. I also get occasional disconnects from my laptop where I never had problems before. Is there a way to debug WiFi connections so I can find out where the problems lies? Otherwise I would need to factory reset it completely and start...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.9 is now available

I tried everything except turning of authentication completely. Always the same problem. Same error. Interesting thing is that in the system log I can see constantly every 10 seconds an Assoc message from the Squeezbox Boom mac address.

Starting from this firmware my Squeezbox Boom will not connect to WiFi any more. What's worse flashing and he previous firmware doesn't solve the Problem. Does anyone have similar problems?

I'm getting the same error message as others when updating from 58 to 59 on my RT-AC66U. Here is the message: Firmware upgrade unsuccessful. This may result from incorrect image or error transmission. Please check the version of firmware and try again. I never had this error before. Just in...

More WiFi off options in Merlin builds?

Hi Everyone, I didn't see this mentioned anywhere else. I have a small feature request. Is it possible to add more options for turning off WiFi? I would like to turn off wireless two times a day but the current implementation doesn't allow this. Is it possible to add this feature? Thanks...
