    I just found out about DNSCrypt and found it to be very usefull, is it possible to use this feature in Asus Merlin? Or will future Merlin support it?

    I dont know if it is just me but the cpu utilization would go up every 30 seconds even when there is no internet activity or external drive pluged in. I dont think previous version does this

    Have been testing 378.54_alpha3 and 378.54_alpha4 both works good regarding Ipvanish openvpn using Strict DNS Configuration and no problems from other configuration settings that I use. Thx Merlin :)

    using AC68 to connect to hotel wifi

    I usually use tp link mr3020 in wisp mode for this situation and connect to vpn using l2tp to Ipvanish. I'd get around 16mbps due to wifi limitation. Its very small and only need mini usb for power. It cost around $20

    I am using it now(with DNS relaxed) as a temporary solution, but would be better if Strict/Exclusive also worked :) Ok Merlin I will look into that settings. Thank you :)

    Knowing there is no issue using PIA I tried using free vpn server from vpngate.net and it turns out using Exclusive working good. So the problem is the settings from Ipvanish, but why using tomato shibby works fine with Ipvanish.

    I also have the same problem when using DNS Setting : Strict/Exclusive but when using my Linksys E1200 with Tomato Shibby 1.28 everything works ok unfortunately E1200 is very slow running openvpn :( I hope it will be fixed soon.

    Hi RMerlin When using vpn policy routing the client selected also seem to have dns leak. Even if I set public dns in wan setting the client keep using my isp dns.

    I did reinstall but this time I erase nvram before upgrade then I clear browser cookies and now works. Maybe it was nvram or cookies problem. Thank you

    I do not specify any DNS in WAN. Did you try ipleak.net using 378.53 with DNS Strict/Exclusive?

    When using RT-AC68U_378.52_2 and openvpn setting is (Accept DNS Configuration : Strict/Exclusive) there is no dns leak. It always uses the dns server of the vpn provider. Now using RT-AC68U_378.53_0 even when I set the setting Accept DNS Configuration : Strict/Exclusive there is still dns leak...

    probably the port for listening/incoming connection is blocked. Try finding an app for checking open ports and change the incoming port in the torent app. Try port forwarding too if you are behind another router.

    I tried using ip address instead and works but after I disconnect the vpn my internet stop working. I'm no expert so I don't know how to do this :)
