    Upgrade from RT-AX92U (2-pack)

Another day, another issue. I was working on my desktop and suddenly there is no Internet connection (checked the router, everything seemed ok), but there is Internet on other devices (so, no red LED for WAN). I've opened the network settings on the desktop and it showed - Ethernet doesn't have...

    Upgrade from RT-AX92U (2-pack)

About 350 sq.m. Well, probably there will be a signal. But the speeds won't be that good anymore. I've tried with a single router, and it feels more sluggish on a different floor (probably because it connects to 2.4 GHz)

    Upgrade from RT-AX92U (2-pack)

Because there is the risk of ruining the room design :D it's not that simple in my case (too many troubles for just one additional cable) I was thinking about this structure: Fiber Optic > Network box > ISP ONT unit > Switch > Main unit (on the first floor in an opened space) and the Second...

    Upgrade from RT-AX92U (2-pack)

Actually, I can place the main unit in an open space. But in this case, I will lose the wired backhaul and the second 5GHz band

    Upgrade from RT-AX92U (2-pack)

    1. It's hot when touching :D compared to my old R7000 2. You mean to run new additional cables? Like this: Fiber Optic > Network box > ISP ONT unit > Ethernet cable to the main RT-AX92U unit (placed in an open space) > Ethernet cable from the main unit to the switch That's not an option 3...

    Upgrade from RT-AX92U (2-pack)

Thank you for your message Unfortunately, I don't think there is a way to change the placement. All the ethernet cables are coming into that network box. Including the fiber optic. So, the network structure is the following: Fiber Optic > Network box > ISP ONT unit > Main ASUS-RT-AX92U >...

    Upgrade from RT-AX92U (2-pack)

Hi all, I need your advice in choosing a new Mesh system. Last year I purchased ASUS RT-AX92U (2-pack), and I'm quite unhappy with it. I've experienced issues with the software (losing WiFi connection, disconnecting devices, slow and unstable speeds, etc.). Many of them got fixed by new...

    RT-AX92U WAN Issue

I've upgraded to the latest firmware (3.0.0.4.386_44985) and it still loses WAN connection. It needs a manual restart every time to restore the connection. If you can please check the logs for any clues.. Many thanks

    Release RT-AX92U Version 3.0.0.4.386.43084 released 6/3/21

That's good news, but how did you upgrade? I've tried through the dashboard, but it says it can't update automatically, so I have to do it manually. Also, I've tried to upload this firmware manually, and it says it's unsuccessful. So apparently, I'll have to reset the router.

    RT-AX92U WAN Issue

Which firmware would you recommend? Apparently, the cause is overheating with the latest firmware. I've upgraded in June to the latest firmware and the problem has started in July when the outside temperature where high. Last summer the router managed pretty nice with high outside temps.

    RT-AX92U WAN Issue

That's strange. I've triggered the reboot because there was no Internet connection (WAN LED were colored in red)

    RT-AX92U WAN Issue

Hi all. I've got an issue with my RT-AX92U Mesh setup (two units). After updating to the latest firmware (3.0.0.4.386_43084-g728dd24) the main unit regularly loses WAN connection. The only way to restore the connection is to restart the unit. I'm uploading the logs for today (there was another...

    RT-AX92U issue

Thank you! I've changed to fixed channels. So far so good.. If you can please take a look at my config: The only downside I've noticed is that the speed on the 5GHz-2 is slower than before..

    RT-AX92U issue

Hi all I have a problem with my RT-AX92U setup (two units). Almost every day, my iPhone XR loses the Internet connection. I've encountered this on other devices (MacBook Pro), but not so frequently. I'm using the phone, and suddenly nothing loads like there is no Internet. But the connection...

Beta ASUSWRT 386 RC2 public beta with full functions AiMesh 2.0

That's great to hear. Yes, it's wired Also, occasionally I'm getting this error: Disassociated because sending station is leaving (or has left) BSS (8) Did they fix it? I have this with my iPhone XR. Almost every day the Internet disconnects (even if the WiFi connection with the router is...

Beta ASUSWRT 386 RC2 public beta with full functions AiMesh 2.0

Does it mean that I will be able to configure all 3 bands to a single SSID? Right now there are 2 separate settings pages for 2.4/5-1 Ghz and 5-2 GHz, and I can't put the same SSID for 5-2 GHz Thanks P.S. RT-AX92U (2-pack)
