    AX88U throttling speed from modem

    I have an AX88U with the latest merlin firmware. It seems very stable. Recently, I upgraded my speed from comcast from 400 to 800. At 400, it always ran at rated speed. When I run the router's speed test now, I'm getting around 600, instead of 800. (Wifi speeds are, of course a bit slower)...

    auto channel assignment loses 5G to most clients

    For some reason, if I let the router auto-assign 5g channels, most of my clients lose internet access (AC clients). If I lock it on 36, all is fine. I have not tried other channel locks. Anyone know why this would be so, and if there is a better channel to lock on then 36? Thanks!

    wireless lockup with alpha 2

    I have the 88u running the new alpha 2 firmware. Five minutes ago, all wireless clients on 2.4 g locked up. Wired clients still functioned properly. Nothing was indicated in the log file. Rebooting the router fixed the problem. Any ideas what could cause this behavior?
