Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker v4.2.x (see new thread for 4.3.x)

Looks like whatever was the issue is no longer at play, as I'm on my way to installing Diverson! Got to love technology sometimes...

Let's Encrypt uses FQDN for certificate

My endgame is similar to that of the OP's, in wanting to access the WebGUI via https: without having to deal with "invalid certificate" warnings that comes about by way of accessing it via the router's internal IP address. I gave it a try with the hosts.add file, and after restarting DNSmasq it...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker v4.2.x (see new thread for 4.3.x)

As requested: As you can see, it fails to give any sort of error message within the SSH session.

Let's Encrypt uses FQDN for certificate

Well, as the tree said to the lumberjack... I'm stumped! Any other alternative options that one could try to obtain the same end result?

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker v4.2.x (see new thread for 4.3.x)

I'm trying to install Diversion (new install, not an upgrade) via AMTM, but the installer exits and kicks me back to the AMTM menu with a "Diversion installation failed" error. Is there a log file that can possibly provide more details on what may be causing the installer to exit and fail? I'm...

Let's Encrypt uses FQDN for certificate

I've tried to map my router hostname to its' internal IP address, to no avail. I have limited experience with DNSmasq config, but the entry I have in dnsmasq.config.add is: address=/router.mydomain.com/10.10.10.1 This should be all that I need to do, correct?

    In-A-Dyn and cPanel DDNS

My apologies for the delayed update, finally getting a chance to give this a go. I've created the ddns-start script, but it's failing to update as shown in this log snippet: Feb 12 11:05:08 watchdog: start ddns. Feb 12 11:05:08 rc_service: watchdog 789:notify_rc start_ddns watchdog Feb 12...

    In-A-Dyn and cPanel DDNS

Just my own server, no additional DDNS providers at play. Would a script like this work to process the CURL request? #!/bin/sh curl -fs -o /dev/null "https://FQDN.TLD/cpanelwebcall/<UNIQUE 32 ALPHA CHARACTER STRING>" if [ $? -eq 0 ]; then /sbin/ddns_custom_updated 1 else...

    In-A-Dyn and cPanel DDNS

Hello; I've been trying to find a way to configure In-A-Dyn to have it call back and update a DDNS subdomain hosted on a cPanel instance that I have running on a remote server, but have so far been unsuccessful. cPanel's DDNS feature uses a webcall string to grab the IP address of the host...

Approved ways to free up NVRAM space...

Did this and trying to copy the text file from /tmp/ on the router to my Win7 Laptop using PSCP... but encountering the following error: sh: /opt/libexec/sftp-server: not found Fatal: Received unexpected end-of-file from server

Approved ways to free up NVRAM space...

Sorry RMerlin, but I forgot to mention that I did reset and reconfigure the router over the weekend before turning to the forms here for assistance.

    $9 Router Cooling (RT-AC68U Example)

Is it blowing air in or sucking it out of the router?

Approved ways to free up NVRAM space...

I'm running 378.55 and have also noticed high NVRAM usage, with 16 bytes remaining. Not running anything out of the ordinary with regards to my configuration.
