    Cortex A53 is 64bit arch. Period. AC86U is starting to show up in europe, but is extremely expensive. It costs more than AC88U.

    I was having random reboot problems with rt-n18u with hgg* firmware, i only did factory reset from gui. Then hggomes recommended factory reset with reset button and that resolved reboot problem.

    Hggomes firmware has realy great wifi coverage even if you stay within legal tx power. But i also live in isolated area, so i don't care of it is illegal.

    Merlin to DD-WRT to Merlin

    Ddwrt is only good for old routers, which doesn't have manufactures support anymore. I would never flash my asus router with ddwrt, stock or merlins fw is much better.

    Just pppoe, wifi and dhcp (some IPs are manually assigned). Everything else is at default. Tried lower wifi power (5%), but it didn't make any difference.

    My rt-n18u keeps randomly rebooting, sometimes works fine for a few days, sometimes reboots twice in one hour. I just can't figure it out. Router is a month old, currently running 380.57.5, i did factory reset after flashing from stock. Before i pluged it as my main router, it was on test one...

    Anyone got 57.4 on rt-n18u? I get terrible speed on wifi, about 14-16mbit (60-70mbit with same firmware and same settings on rt-ac66u). Tried rebooting it a few times, factory reset... And another thing, i've changed original antennas with high gain antennas and router just goes berserk, led's...

    There is only hgg fork of merlins fw for rt-n18u. I just bought this router and flashed hgg fw and it's great.
