    hi RMerlin, i had same problem (on XVortex - as i use R7000) but "Log only messages more urgent than" "Debug" was selected, syslogd still showed 7. i changed then the selection field to "info" which is working now as syslogd -l 6 could there be some misunderstanding with the term "more urgent...
