    CAKE compared to OpenWrt version?

    I switched from an AC68u to a router running OpenWrt years ago because it did not support CAKE. I see the newer AX Asus routers are running a newer kernel version with native support. Is this as good as the one in OpenWrt now? Anyone have experiences comparing them?

    What's the best go forward router for Asuswrt-Merlin?

    Upgrading from my Asus AC68U. Which model is recommended for the best compatibility with Asuswrt-Merlin and longer term support? Would that be the AC88U or the AC86U? I was leaning towards the AC86U since it's on a newer platform and AFAIK @RMerlin develops on and uses that model right now.

    Default IPv6 firewall config?

    What's the default firewall configuration for the Asus Merlin FW? For example, I know that it allows IPv6 ICMP traffic by default. Does it allow all kinds of ICMP traffic or only certain types?

    RT-AC68U reporting 1 ghz CPU

    I just bought a new RT-AC68U and the revision is B1. I flashed to Merlin 378.56_2 and did a factory reset. Under Tools -> SysInfo it reports that the CPU Frequency is 1000 Mhz and HW acceleration Enabled (CTF + FA). I searched the forums and know there was a bug in earlier firmware which...
