    One thing I am a little concerned about, not related to performance is the DC Power in connector. It's not very snug, and the power cord slips out easily. Not good when dusting etc.

    Not familiar with that set up (Hotwire). My DTV Genie satellites use wireless to connect to the main DVR, although that and the dish itself is connected through lan.

    Uploaded fine for me as well. However experienced major lag issues while gaming, even with minimal devices attached. Streaming on 2.4 GHz band was active at the time. Was using original settings no QoS no Metering. Did a cold reboot power up of network, still no joy. Ended up going back to...

    Simple question that may shed some light. Are you a satellite TV subscriber aka Direct TV, Dish etc.? If so it's probably using a satellite modem connected to your internet modem/router. I see DTV devices on mine as each box has a media server and registers on a separate ip address. Freaked me...
