    I didnt have many issues with the current firmware, but this test version seems to be a bit snappier to load the cams and they seem to have a stronger link. Running 2x 86U in mesh.

    Asus rt-ax86u 5ghz band crashing with new firmware when downloading

    what are your settings for both 5ghz sections? Im finding 388.1 super stable on both channels with 2 x AX86U in mesh, where the last few firmwares i wasnt.

    This is the first firmware since the Merlins 386.5_2 that now seems to work nicely across devices and mesh.

    i had that setup over ethernet backhaul then changed to another 86X it worked quite well, not as powerful, but still a decent router.

    yep, this release was awful with my setup, wifi was drunk. older version no issues.

    tested again, full reset. 2x Ax86u AImesh ethernet backhaul. on 2.4, certain older wifi devices wouldnt connect or stuggle to connect / stay on. back down to 5_2 again and everything is perfect. same issue with official asus firmware.

    Exact same, only started using from Beta3 and now 4, but no noticeable issues. I also have no scripts or guest networks, similiar basic setup, but i do have an AP attached to the AX3K via network cable.

    [Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.14 Beta is now available

    I'm not sure if its the same issue, but my internet will drop without an error message, and rebooting will fix it. This only happens when i have reboot scheduler and DOT is on. I have since disabled the reboot scheduler and everything is working well.

    I’m finding the Alpha 2 better than the .13 version for 2x AC86U in repeater. Everything is smooth at the moment, and the scheduled reboot issue seems to have been fixed.

    Have been using this for a few days and so far not a single issue, reboot scheduler also appears to be working.

    I have been running 384.13 and i have intermittent auto reboot problems, setting to reboot once a week, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. I was thinking of updating to this Alpha to see it had been fixed, seems not?
