    I have seen some people saying 443 was reserved for enterprise customers. I called them and they said I can configure to open this port myself on the modem, but I will just leave it with this new port. Thanks a lot Colin!

    This worked! Damn, why would 443 be blocked then? Maybe my ISP for security reasons, to avoid a malware settings an HTTPS in my network?

    I have OpenVPN, but I configured another port. What should I be looking for at iptables-save?

    Yeah, that's pretty much what I have said. I can see this page on my local network, but I can't using the WAN IP or the DDNS. It looks like the service is working, but not exposed to the internet, maybe the firewall rules aren't being applied.

    I think the router is fine, but this firmware version might not be compatible with AiCloud 2.0 for this model. Maybe Merlin still has compatibility, will check.

    I was thinking on opening the port in the Firewall, but the Firewall only accepts IPV6 addresses.

    I have mine since 2015 I think. The power button plastic cracked to dust last month, so I soldered it always on. Besides this, it's perfectly fine ever since.

    I tried adding a port forwarding 20,21 -> 21 for the router's IP and it didn't work as well, the ports remain closed.

    I didn't enable smart access, just Cloud Disk. Do you mean in the "Virtual Server / Port Forwarding" WAN settings? If so, there's no rule there. But I have tried to add a rule for FTP and the router's IP, and it didn't work. The asus tutorial says we don't need to add a port forwarding config...

    There were some power problems in my neighborhood and my router reseted to factory settings, so I configured it from scratch again, all is working fine, but I can't expose FTP, Samba or AiCloud disk to the internet. The GUI is exposed. They all work fine in LAN. I know it worked some years ago...

    I have the old one. It would be a very bad move from Asus to release a firmware update that removes a feature that was working just fine.

    I can't access my AiCloud Disk from WAN, but it works fine on LAN. I can access the Asus UI in WAN, to configure the router, so I know my router is exposed to the internet, but AiCloud 2.0 gets a timeout when I try to access it. I have OpenVPN enabled, so I can access AiCloud 2.0 from the VPN...

    I just upgraded and now I get a message saying I have the latest version, all good so far, lets see when the next OTA comes.

    AC68U unable to check for new firmware?

    I am experiencing the same exact problem , but I have an RT-AC66U. Are the Asus servers down or have they discontinued firmware updates for my model? I can see a new firmware version on the RT-AC66U webpage.
