    Release [Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374 LTS release 50E8

I don't know how this might affect the forks, but this is pretty bad, I think: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/botnet-targets-hundreds-of-thousands-of-devices-using-realtek-sdk/ Congrats on 7 years! Still running my RT-N66U with 50E8 :)

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Thanks, I am aware not all dev builds will be available. Just really glad development is active again!

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

So, real dumb question for everyone. Is the 44E5 now the latest? I was looking for @john9527 dev builds Onedrive link earlier in the thread, but noticed the first page has a newer build listed that I currently have installed (41E8) on my RT-N66U.

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Hey all, great to see @john9527 is active again! Currently running 41E8 on my N66U, and just saw there is a 44E5 release! Should I be able to just upgrade in-place, or should I do an NVRAM reset and build everything again? Reading through some of the changelogs in the meantime!

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Hey there. Just wanted to let you know that I did the factory reset. It looks like it did take the E6 firmware. Checked just now and there is an E8, so I did the initial setup and uploaded the E8. Going through the rest of the setup now! Thanks for the help!

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Hmm.....Yes I can ping the gateway address. All my systems seem to take that as the gateway address, as well. Just tried the 1.1 suggestion, and still no go. I don't believe I have telnet/SSH access enabled, so the only thing I can think of is a factory reset. Is that still 30-30-30 with Asus...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Sorry, should have included that! I am logging in through Firefox 68.5.0ESR, on Netrunner Linux, just going to the IP address of the router. In my case, that's 192.168.64.1. Taking the port off, or trying HTTP give me a 'cannot connect' error. I could try another browser, which I will do now...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Hey everyone, just wanted to pop in and see how things are going. Just recently found out there were dev firmwares. Downloaded the one for my RT-N66U, didn't succeed the first time. Tried again today, and I think it worked? However, upon trying to login to verify, I got the following message...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

I just wanted to come back in here and say thanks @john9527 for the awesome work of keeping older, but trusty (now with your fork, anyway!) routers! Also, I am not sure if I missed it (don't feel like looking through ~390 pages of commentary), but are you accepting donations to continue? I...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Hey again everyone! Finally got around to doing this process, and while there were quite a few snags, I got it to work. Previously on the latest Merlin build, I was using Netflix's Fast speed test, and getting 50-65mbps, which the associated (assumed) load-related WiFi drops. Now with this...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Hey all, new to this particular fork, but willing to give it a try. Recently, WiFi on my N66U has been...less than perfect, and I am having trouble really tracking it down. Currently running Merlin 380.69. Has a 32GB mSD card installed, but I have literally never used it (never wrapped my head...

End of year 2017 development update

Great news! Been using AsusWRT-Merlin for a while now, switched from Advanced Tomato (which is also having some support pains) and few complaints! A shame you're moving on from the MIPS platforms (I currently have an RT-N66U, and no particular plan to move on, yet), but completely...
