    Thanks for that info, looks like the QNAP's is the way to go for my scenario. One more question, do you know if its possible on these 4-bay systems to use only 2 bays for a RAID 1 setup for file sharing and use the other 2 bays for a stand alone data drive, i.e; possible backup drive...

    Connect two networks to share NAS, but keep networks isolated

    Which brand/model NAS's are you running? I am in need of a quality dual nic NAS for a client of mine that has 2 separate networks in their office. I need to be able to share the data between the networks, but only use one NAS. Thanks!
