    5.3 to 5.7 GHz exist, it's the third band. Look at the fact in the wikipedia article ! DFS channels are only available to those router who scan for a radar presence.

    You need to buy a Tri-band routers. The DFS channels in the 5.3-5.7 GHz range are perfect to make a dedicated backhaul between the node.

    802.11AC does not exist on 2.4 GHz. When using your old router on 2.5 GHz woud were using compatibility in 802.11n. 802.11ax deos work on 2.4GHz and 5.x GHz. Did you use a 20MHz channel in your test ?

    Looking for a router with 5Ghz internal antenna and external for the 2.4

    Hi. I am new here. I am seeking for a router, 802.11ac or new, that has a specific feature. I would like to have the externals antennas to be for the 2.4Ghz only. I intent to changed them with single bands, so I need it this way. Thanks for any suggestion.
