    Your router is not the only one on the internet! There is probably congestion someplace between you and the test server. If all parties between you are the test server are responsible network operators they will see this and fix it.

    Not only that, some clines request the same IP they previously used. The answer to your question if there is a list of mac addresses stored, every device has an ARP table has a list of MAC addresses and there associated IP. You can see it using arp -a on many systems.

    Sounds like that router has a bad 2.4 Ghz radio. Possibly it's young enough to get a warrantee replacement.

    Try moving all your nodes from the switch to the router. The retest and look at all status.

    Now you don't mention the mesh nodes. They are hard wired yet where do they do they connect and what is the full path between the router and each noce? What status does the router show for each node? show the ping of each node.

    Please provide a network diagram for all switches and Asus devices. Your VLAN mapping and include the VLAN configuration for all ports that your Asus devices connect to and if connected as a host port or trunk port.

    I have no issues using VOIP. I have Grandstream VOIP gateway with a wired connection. Our Android photos use VOIP over WiFi direct to Verizon with no issue as well. Why do you need the VPN connection?

    In your DNS Director setup, do you have a client entry for your 192.168.50.2 (DNS Server)? If not, have it point to router. Without this, you are blocking it from going to route DNS servers to load it's cache.

    I had this issue with the RT-AX86U after a firmware upgrade a while back. It sounds like you saw my solution. Try restarting the router, that will probably clear the issue. Good luck, Morris
