    Scenario Great, thanks for reply. The following scheme I am worried about: I have the NAS connected to 2 separate networks NIC 1 is connected to 10.0.0.3 and NIC 2 is connected to 192.168.1.10 These are 2 separate networks with their own wiring and their own internet-connection...

    Backdoor will this leave a backdoor open to the closed network (that currently does not have internet)? or is it impossible to get from wan to nas and via nas to closed network and to a pc or server connected to closed network?
