    Updateing firmware has come a long way and 99% of the time it will be with out issue. But well power cuts can happen for example. Yet then there is still a way to recover asus firmware on the device by asus recovery software. So really it can not fail.

    Some weeks ago, Asus had a flaw with the signatures. There was a issue that updating the signatures it was stopping Asus routers from working. There was ment to be a fix for the ones that stoped working, but as you say its been a month and nothing new since.

    I've tried disabling AI protect, disabled DOT, setup port forwarding, I'm connected via LAN cable. Disabled ddos in firewall, IPV6 is disabled. The ISP device is on its default settings
