    Question about uploading settings from one router to another...

    I have a RT-N66U running the latest Asus firmware. I saved the router settings to my desktop via the app inside the router firmware. If I was to buy a new RT-AC66U could I upload the settings file from the RT-N66U to the new router? Thanks.

    If you read the description of the latest firmware update via Asus all it says it does is improve USB performance. Someone should test the USB speed before and after the latest update.

    I got mine from Amazon. Placed order on January 1st. Took awhile to get it. They had issues with the original batch since the .72 firmware was broken. They should have more in stock nation wide come mid-Feb.

    Got my new Cisco DPC3010 DOCSIS 3.0 modem up and running. I did a speed test before I switched out the modems. With my old Ambit modem I was getting 12 Mbps down. With the new Cisco I am getting 32.50 Mbps down. I am very happy!

    Asus RT-N66U wired performance

    I have an Xbox and Roku player. Both are hooked up via LAN. MW3 and Netflix run very well (streams faster than my old Linksys WRT54G running Tomato) and the Roku loads just as fast. Maybe you have a bad RT-N66U?

    I to used Firefox and and Win7 to setup the router. The version was .72 but for me the firmware was fine and I had no issues just like you. I still updated to .90 and have had no issues.
