    NVRAM [Release] NVRAM Save/Restore Utility

That did it. I just assumed that options [2] and/or [3] would cover everything. Thank you!

    NVRAM [Release] NVRAM Save/Restore Utility

amtm 3.1.7 is indicating a "min upd" is available for nsrum, but running option [2] and [3] in the utility do not clear this status. Suggestions? Thanks!

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Just an FYI on the image hosting site you are using. I currently am using CleanBrowsing for DNS, and they are blocking i.imgur.com (and imgur.com). So, all I get for the posted images now is a '[ IMG ]' placeholder. Since CleanBrowsing is one of the options made available by default in...

    RT-AX89X

How many 6E capable devices do you currently own? There's always something newer on the horizon... The RT-AX89X happens to look like a pretty solid upgrade from my AC88U, benefiting several AX-capable devices I do actually have in use. However, the lack of Asuswrt-Merlin support is what has...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

I had the exact same problem with a lot of sites that I visit regularly. They would all load excruciatingly slow - several minutes or more each. I was using the Medium blocking list. I finally changed to the Standard blocking list and the problem went away. Not particularly happy about...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

I updated Diversion, but when I go to re-select the Blocking List to use, it appears that the descriptions of those lists still need updating: Select predefined blocking list to use. Your current type is Medium 1. Small someonewhocares.org, pgl.yoyo.org...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.12 is now available

I was on 384.11_2, and had the same thing happen to me. Said new firmware was available, and took me to the ASUS site for their latest version. I'm now on 384.12, so we'll see if the issue persists when the next version is available...

    [Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.11 is available

So, no new build for the affected models until the next build for all of the supported models (such as 384.11_2, should it be necessary)? Thanks.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

You can easily use OpenDNS **and** Diversion. I am. Just set up your router's WAN DNS to point to the OpenDNS servers, and install Diversion. They work perfectly well together. No DoT, of course, but ... check out another possible solution for DoT **and** Filtering: Cleanbrowsing...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.10 is now available

Start a new thread for stuff like this. It has nothing to do with the firmware version being discussed in this thread... Thanks.

RT-AC88U 1Gb Fiber WAN - Router Bandwidth Throttling

I'm glad you and @skeal were both willing to jump into the fray and start making suggestions and asking questions to get everyone thinking... and ultimately to finding the solution. Way better than sitting around alone beating one's head against the proverbial brick wall and getting nowhere! o_O

RT-AC88U 1Gb Fiber WAN - Router Bandwidth Throttling

@EmeraldDeer & @john9527 : THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! EmeraldDeer got me looking in the right place to see what exactly was interfering with NAT/HW Acceleration, where i saw this: "HW acceleration: Disabled - incompatible with: IPTraffic" (like John said). I found the setting on the...

RT-AC88U 1Gb Fiber WAN - Router Bandwidth Throttling

Can you be more specific at to what possible "custom settings" would cause NAT Acceleration to not be working as it should? I don't think I have any custom settings really, but would certainly like to know where to look to be certain. Is there a complete list of things that would affect this...

RT-AC88U 1Gb Fiber WAN - Router Bandwidth Throttling

I'm using Link Aggregation to my NAS where I'm running my DLNA/UPnP Media Server - and nightly backups of all my computers. Seems reasonable to enable it for these purposes. FWIW, I did try disabling it to no noticeable effect. I'm using the SpeedTest app for Windows (64-bit)...

RT-AC88U 1Gb Fiber WAN - Router Bandwidth Throttling

Our home fiber circuit was recently upgraded from 250Mb to 1Gb, and I’m now seeing a large discrepancy between speeds before the router and after the router. Before/In front of the router – WAN link plugged directly into my laptop: After/Behind the router – with the same laptop plugged...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

I was wondering the same thing, but I'm not using pixelserv with Diversion at this time. For me, nslookup shows it pointing to my router's IP (gateway/DNS/WINS) address. I had 12068 requests last week, making #5 on my Top 25 list...

    User NVRAM Save/Restore Utility (R26.2)

Any clear instructions on how best to use this utility (or not use it) to migrate only the most critical settings (DHCP Reservations, OpenVPN Settings), while leaving the rest to be manually configured during a move from 380.70 to 384.xx? Thanks in advance.

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 Beta is now available
