    tyvm Sir guessing have one of these as a main router and if you need to extend get backhaul Aimesh with slightly cheaper AX model maybe the AX68U will stick for the time being and twist once the AC68U are EOL

    Hi Team, I currently have 2 * ASUS RT-AC68U running in a Aimesh system with VM 500mbps connection which is being upgraded to 1gbps I want to add the RT-AC88U as the main router does anyone have this setup? are any advantages/disadvantages with this setup anything I need to be aware of? Thanks H

    Hi Colin physically the Router is badged as a AC1900 dual band model but on router page shows it as a RT-AC68U I am running Asuswrt-Merlin firmware 386.9 please see image is hardware acceleration a setting I need to enable?

    Thank you very much Sir I withdrew from the privacy options and trend was already disabled when I checked I just tried using my mac and 1 gb wired connection directly from the AC1900 and got the following from speedtest.

    Hi Andrei not sure I have seen a trend setting where is this QOS I just disabled didn't even realize this was on this has helped somewhat but still not close to 500mbps please see screen shot.

    Hi All, recently upgraded to M500 virgin package have the hub3 which is used in modem mode and then passed through to ASUS AC1900 on a speed test hardwired only getting 92Mbps when paying for 500Mbps does the ac1900 not support these speeds? Regards H
