    The review thread was a great source for new firmware updates. Unfortunately that thread is now closed and basically all information sharing about this router seems to have stopped. Does anyone know if there are any new official or beta releases of FW for the RT-N66U? Any info is appreciated.

    When you say "upgraded", are you talking about upgrade of Download Master or the router firmware? If you are talking about Download Master I am not sure how you are upgrading it before installing when the only option that I get is "Install" and I only get upgrade after it is already installed...

    I'm not too surprised they took down 102. I reported a number of problems to Asus networking support including hanging WIFI connections, NAS dropouts, etc. I'm still running it, but it's far from ideal.

    Neither will fully work right now. You have to wait for Asus to release new firmware. Right now only Windows/Linux will be able to view the shared folders and files on the drive if you format with NTFS/EXT3. No other devices will be able to access any files or folders on the drive.

    You don't need to do that. Just hover over second column (first column are icons, such as ? marks, etc.) in Client status in Network Map and you will get the MAC address. Write it down and then input it under LAN > DHCP Server > Manually Assigned IP around the DHCP List

    So, I sent in the issues to networking_support@asus.com because that is supposed to be the email for reporting issues, correct...alright, well, I asked for a receipt so that I know when the email has been addressed. Make what you want from this :rolleyes: I'm not impressed by this reply...
