    I am considering the GT-AX6000; bulky but vents are not as exposed as the AX88u Pro. Are there any that will transmit signal in the 160mhz range above channel 100 / DFS?

    Yea, thats a huge device. Antennas hold up ok? Vents on this one are not as exposed as the AX88u Pro - vent grill on top; looks exposed.

    Asus RT-AX86U pro vs RT-AX82U

    Setup AX86U Pro; certainly a difference right out of the box with default settings. Getting 386 DL/186UL outside by fence; appx 45/50 ft from router inside. Inside speeds are over 600DL/700ul. This is with default settings. No tweaking

    @Tech9 Just checked my AX82U... It is V1 hardware. Guess it doesn't have the same 5ghz radio as RT_AX86U? :-(

    Asus RT-AX82U Stock vs Merlin Advantage?

    Just setup Asus RT-AX82U using stock firmware - like the features. Are there any advantages of using the Asus Merlin firmware image vs this stock firmware? Current wifi DL speeds are in the 400-690mbps range. I have a 1g symmetrical connection.
