    [dev] - GCC 8.0 and Skylake/KabyLake/CannonLake bug

    Saw this over in my newsfeeds - apparently the skylake tuning for GCC is a bit in error... Can mitigate to some degree by using -mtune=haswell and get some performance back... https://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/943209/ Some commentary here...
