Something I have been considering for a little while.

I seem to be in a reasonably good 4G area. I have a iPhone 11 Pro Max and with my phone I get generally between 80/120 meg on speed tests and my land line only gets 2
50. Now I know 50 isn’t the worst but 80-120’is obviously better.

now I have moved my SIM card into a old android tablet and also a M7350 mobile router that advertises “Up to 150Mbps download and 50Mbps upload speeds“
now I have a ASUS 5300 and this works plugged into the usb of my router but I only get about 30meg In both this and the android tablet.

I was looking at trying either the ASUS 4G-AC53U with this spec.
LTE: Downlink 300 Mbps / Uplink 50 Mbps

So before splurging on something like this, I thought about testing with a TP Link MR200 but again that’s a 150Mbps limit.
Am I going to have the same issues as the TPlink 7350.

why does the iPhone get such good speeds? I assume just the built in modem?
Thanks

You took the Network SIM from a phone and put it in a (appropriately configured) tablet? I didn't know that was do-able.
