Are there any specifics about the differences between AC68U H/W rev A1 vs. A2? I think some have suggested that the USB shielding was improved but I don't think this was ever confirmed.
I recently sent in an A2 where the USB ports didn't work from the start, and received an A1 as a replacement. The USB ports work, but when I disable the "Reduce USB 3.0 Interference" option, plugging a USB 3 stick in increases my noise floor by 20dbm. Granted the shielding on the USB drive/cable itself is important, but all things equal, would an A2 be expected to have less interference than an A1? Or would I expect about the same impact?
If there's no significant difference I won't bother trying to get an A2 replacement instead.
