New Around Here
Hello there,
apology if this problem was posted before.
I try to upgrade from Firmware:380.61 to 380.62_1 but my AC68U doesn't take the update. The upload starts normal until 100%. However nothing happens after that and the upload window disappears without the reboot. The Internet is disconnected and the router website stops working soon after. However I can still ping and connect with Telnet to the router.
Any ideas why I can update to the newest Firmware?
Thanks L

Try doing a full factory reset of your router first. Plug in a CAT5 cable to one of the 4 LAN ports of the router to your PC. Then perform the firmware upgrade.

Now, do a full factory reset to defaults. :)

That last link above will save you countless hours trying to copy or remember the settings you had previously (and in human readable format too).

Don't use the gui's 'backup config' buttons (you will effectively accomplish 'nothing' by doing so and still negate the reset to factory defaults).
