I just got a pair of ac86u to replace my trusty n66u. I used the n66u with an external hard drive hooked to it to stream movies to a Roku and had no problems with it. I set up the ac86u and turned on the upnp server my movies show up and but only some the lower resolution movies will play and none of my blu rays will play. When I try to transfer a file to or from the drive it is extremely slow 2mbps. I have tried turning the 2.4 interference on or off and it doesn't make a difference. It's a USB 3.0 drive with it's own external power supply. I am running the latest official Asus firmware. I have 2 ac86u set up as a mesh and have the hard drive plugged to the main router.
I would appreciate any help you can provide.
