so i just upgraded my server from a 115j to a 214play.
in doing so I left all the ports for the applications the same. However, I am unable to access the server via the external DDNS setting from my internal LAN.
But my same computer / browser CAN access the server from the external DDNS name from the same router if I use Wifi.
I tried changing a couple of settings on my Fios Modem and Asus router, but I cant seem to make it work. I would use the hosts file, but its a work laptop and I travel a bit so I cant direct it to a static IP.
When it doesnt connect it will usually say 'Waiting for server' and never time out so Im not sure what the deal is.
I can use the SAME computer on the LAN and connect to the VPN via the external address though. I can also use the lan to access my IP cameras. So I think the port forwarding is working, and am wondering if its a synology issue as I had to reinstall everything when migrating from 1 bay to 2 bay.
