So, I've been having problems with ASUSWRT-Merlin, namely I can't get it to let DHCP through in Repeater mode. As I can only use the router in this specific mode, and I need DHCP, I'm stuck with stock (latest 380.7266). Router model is RT-AC66U_B1.

I've installed Entware using the "easy script" from RMerlin's repo, which works fine - on first run. If the router is rebooted, the init scripts are not run, and thus, the mounts, etc. will not be applied.

Is there a way to add the JFFS user scripts feature to the stock firmware, without much hackery, or to make Entware work after reboot?

So I suppose it could be modified to run the Merlin script files from jffs, since we have that storage, right?
