The two new dual-band extenders, Amped Wireless’ AC750 B750EX and AC1200 B1200EX (pictured), utilize a lighted signal strength indicator to help facilitate the best location to install and extend a home network. From there, a mobile app is used to continue the setup process and, per Amped Wireless, extend a wireless network up to an additional 3500 sq. ft. with the B750EX, or up to 5000 sq. ft. with the B1200EX.

Amped Wireless’ Boostband technology is used to consolidate bandwidth into a single frequency between the router and the new extenders, which according to the announcement, increases performance. Maximum link rates for the B750EX is listed at 300 Mbps @2.4 Ghz and 450 Mbps @ 5 Ghz, while the B1200EX gets 300 Mbps @ 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps @ 5 GHz.

Each extender aslo has an Ethernet port for physical connections.

The B750EX range extender will be available in June for $39.50, while the B1200EX is now shipping and priced at $59.99.
