ASUS AC2400 5Ghz issues

On my phone I keep getting a message that my 5g network is unstable, and when i look at the lights on the router the 5g light just has a steady slow blink, not like the other lights that have fast blinking due to the activity.

I have merlin 378.55 and I haven't changed any of the setting, but is there something I should change or is the slow blinking light for 5g normal?

I currently don't have any devices connected to the 5g network and I get a solid light. As soon as I connect a device to it, is when it starts the slow steady blinking vs. all the other lights which flicker when they show traffic.
