Trying to figure out why my new Asus 5300 router keeps dropping connections. Specifically it happens on one of the 5 Ghz bands. Currently all the firmware is set to default and I read that the Merlin firmware is still in Beta phase.
Smart Connect is off.
I read somewhere that if I go into the settings and change the channels on each band then it might work. I'm not really sure what settings to change though. The computer that keeps dropping is using an Asus PCE-AC68 AC1900 network card.
