I sadly found that my device is no longer supported (although it is not so old). I tried to build a new build from source codes (mainline branch), and code does not compile. There are some objective reasons why this is happening (the code is no longer compatible), or my toolchain is not suitable (I took centos)?

Asus dropped support for it, probably worth upgrading at this stage.

The code is no longer compatible, since Asus stopped releasing updated binary blobs for that model.
