Hi,
I need to buy a router that performs very well under a lot of Bit Torrent (and several other types of traffic) use. Right now I'm considering the Ubiquiti Air Router HP, Asus RT-N66U, Asus RT-AC66U, and the Linksys WRT54GL, although that last one's pretty old at this point so I'm inclined to go for something newer.
The only thread I've found so far regarding Bit Torrent performance with the Air Router is this one: http://forum.ubnt.com/showthread.php?t=45412&highlight=bittorrent There's not much information on this out there. It seems to be a solid router, but some users there seem to say it will choke when torrenting.
Therefore I'm leaning towards the N66 or the AC66. Since it's not much more I wouldn't mind paying for the AC66, but it looks like Tomato may not be supported.
Let me know what you think, thanks!
