Hi,

What settings should I enable in order to block IPTV packets coming from the WAN port? I don't need IPTV on any of the devices connected to the router and I think the router is getting flooded with these packets (since my fiber service also includes IPTV).

Thanks.

If you have a firewall, nothing should be getting in unless you allowed it.

What makes you think IPTV is causing your problems?

What problems are you experiencing?

Well, I'm having some hibernation problems with my NAS and I can't quite figure out why. I know that this isn't the most likely cause of it waking up randomly but I also like to have the router settings tweaked and that blinking WAN light on my RT-N66U whenever I use IPTV is telling me something is going through, but maybe it isn't propagated to the LAN? I may be misunderstanding this since I don't really know how it works.

My network topology is:

ONT -> Switch (without IGMP snooping) ->

1. RT-N66U (For Internet)
2. ISP Router (For IPTV & Phone)
