New Around Here
With the help of great members of this forum I was able to work around the download limit of 20 Mbit/s that I got using the latest Merlin firmware with a RT-AC56U and an Huawei E3272-153 (http://www.snbforums.com/threads/4g...on-wrt-based-routers-like-the-rt-ac56u.24125/). I had to downgrade to Merlins 374 firmware, edit the AT setport settings to NDIS only and bring the connection up manually via terminal. However this way the router won't reconnect upon disconnects from my provider (every 24 hours).
Again, with 378.52 the speed is limited to 20 Mbit/s on download.
I tried DD-WRT from their router database and got full speed connection again. But now I am missing hardware offload.

Is there any way to bring back high speed 4G connections to ASUSWRT-based firmwares in the near future?

Best regards
Ryan
