Hi people,
I have an Asus RT-AC3200 running the latest stable merlin.
CFE 1.0.1.6
I'm having problems with my wireless performance.
On 5G1 radio I have options 36, 40, 44, 48.
On 5G2 radio I have options 149, 153, 157, 161, 165
Hovering over the wireless icon I can see that 5G1 radio ids operating at 40MHz and 5G2 at 20MHz.
I have reset the router and configured again manually.
I have tried setting the frequency manually.
What could be the problem?
Doing a wireless scan from my laptop I can only see two other wireless networks. Interference shouldn't be a problem.
I suspect my router is limited in available channels and its not choosing a higher channel width to avoid channel overlapping.
Is my only option to hack my CFE to make it legal in my own country, perhaps then I'll have luck getting a higher channel width?
I have successfully connected to other networks with the AU region code and they were operating fine at 80MHz.
