New Around Here
Hi
I have been trying to setup a system for a while and have had some success but need it to be working better

Sons house
Cable broadband and a Wifi router .
Connected via RJ45 is a TP Link TP-WA7210N in Bridge with AP mode

I live in line of site 60m away.

My house
TP Link TP-WA7210N in Bridge with AP mode pointing to sons house
Connected via RJ45 to a Wifi Router.

So currently I can use the internet from my sons house ( sometimes flaky ) but cannot see any computers on his network.

What I would like to do is have free access to both houses computers . This I am assuming would be done by having compatible IP settings .

Could someone help me with this?

Cheers
Jay

Supposing both are really in bridge mode and you don't have a DHCP server running on your side of the network, it should all be working.

That said, if network discovery is off on anything, it won't be discoverable or be able to see anything. Check to make sure that is on.

Then try ping tests to see if you can hit things on his network and vice versa.
