Hi All,

I picked up a second AC87U to learn about Link Aggregation. They both run 378.56_2.

In the interim, I have one AC87 set up as a core router with the second running in AP mode with the radios disabled. I just use the WAN and LAN ports for hardwired media devices.

The primary device has CTF+FA displayed as enabled. The second has nothing special running, no monitoring or QOS, but shows only CTF, no +FA.

I flipped the NVRAM bit so now the second device displays CTF+FA but upon reboot, it displays only CTF, again.

How can I enable CTF+FA on the downstream device, permanently?

I think you don't. Because FA is hardeware nat forwarding. And in AP mode there is no NAT enabled, only in router mode.

Both of these are tied to NAT. An AP doesn't do any NAT, so they wouldn't have any effect.
