R7800 is really most popular router from NG... Impressing:

I've checked my site log for my own internal needs, 3 minutes after publishing this thread and three downloads already: Belgium, Canada and Netherlands. How do you do that guys? Belgium is the winner now...

Had 41 days of solid uptime on .79SF with great performance. Thank you Voxel.

The only thing I miss about running OpenWrt on my R7800 was the GUI, Netgear has done a terrible job with the Netgear Genie and I absolutely hate it. Thankfully I rarely have to log in to it because everything just works the way it should.

Here's an iPerf result from .80SF, slightly higher than what I was getting with the previous build.

R7800 was on 5GHz, Channel 149, 80 MHz width, client was a laptop with an Intel 9260 AC WiFi card.

I know what i'm going to do this evening!
One question, more in general, i noticed the ping to my R7800 is ~2ms via 5ghz. I remember that previously this was always <1ms, does anyone have the same experience?

Thanks again Voxel!

Since we're sharing data points here's mine...
WIRED:
15 packets transmitted, 15 packets received, 0.0% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 0.296/0.365/0.481/0.055 ms

WIRELESS 5GHz:
15 packets transmitted, 15 packets received, 0.0% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 1.412/5.610/36.132/8.240 ms
