D-Link has announced it is now shipping the DIR-X1560, its first Wi-Fi 6 mesh router announced at January's CES2020.

It includes compatibility with D-Link’s mesh technology, MU-MIMO, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant operability, enhanced profile-based parental controls, and management/setup with chat-based tech support via the D-Link Wi-Fi app.

The two-stream per band AX1560 has maximum wireless data rates of 300 Mbps @ 2.4 GHz and 1200 Mbps @ 5 GHz and includes five GbE ports (1 WAN + 4 WAN) for physical connections.

Update: To save cost, the router uses an two-stream 802.11n radio on 2.4 GHz and a 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6 radio. The 5 GHz radio supports up to 80 MHz channel bandwidth; 160 MHz is not supported.

The D-Link DIR-X1560 is available now, direct from D-Link for $99.99. Availability on Amazon is currently pending due to COVID-19 prioritization.
