New Around Here
Hello to everyone,

I would like to setup a wireless bridge, using at the same time AP mode and ethernet on the remote AP.
Basically:

Internet--AP1<---wifi--->AP2---Ethernet devices + Wireless devices

Already owning a D-Link DAP-2553, I was thinking about buying another one. but could it work the way I'd like ? If yes, how ?

I was thinking to this setup:

AP2 --> AP mode (classic)
AP1 --> Wireless client mode (Ethernet would be connected to Internet router)

Other suggestions of setup/hardware ?

Thank you very much.
Fred

A second DAP-2553 will certainly serve as a wireless repeater. I'm not sure if it will also support wired clients via its Ethernet port.

I know that a NETGEAR WN2000RPT will work as you want and doesn't require WDS.
