I have a no-ip.com account and my RT-AC68U (Firmware: 378.56_2) is set to check every 60 minutes. System log is reporting:
Nov 30 06:39:15 ddns update: connected to dynupdate.no-ip.com (8.23.224.120) on port 80.
Nov 30 06:39:15 ddns update: request successful
Nov 30 06:39:15 ddns update: asusddns_update: 0
Nov 30 06:39:16 ddns: ddns update ok
However my no-ip.com DDNS account is never updated. I can manually log into no-ip and update my records so I know the account is fine. Can anyone help with this?

Can you visit the following URLs from this same network? I want to see if there is any block in between our networks. Tell me what you see at each:

https://dynupdate.no-ip.com/ip

http://ip1.dynupdate.no-ip.com
http://ip1.dynupdate.no-ip.com:8245

Thank you!

For some reason (to persuade free users to use a paid service?), the user is sent a message monthly and expected to manually confirm that the URL is to continue service. If not, then the hostname is deleted.

If you login to your account, can you verify that the target hostname has not been deleted?

Can you use the Asus DDNS service instead of no-ip.org?

I will eventually transfer my service from no-ip.org to Asus DDNS.

The reason I use no-ip.org is because it will update both Asus and OpenDNS.
