I am having trouble updating my DNSOMATIC account. Not sure when the issue started but I recently configured an OpenVPN based client on my router.
I searched for similar issue and found one where someone said if the following is configured on the VPN client, it would cause the issue. But I don't have this configured.
Redirect Internet traffic: All Traffic
The error I am getting is below:
May 3 22:20:38 watchdog: start ddns.
May 3 22:20:38 rc_service: watchdog 442:notify_rc start_ddns
May 3 22:20:39 ddns update: ez-ipupdate: starting...
May 3 22:20:39 ddns update: connected to updates.dnsomatic.com (67.215.92.215) on port 80.
May 3 22:20:54 ddns update: Server timeout
May 3 22:20:54 ddns update: strange server response, are you connecting to the right server?
May 3 22:20:54 ddns update: asusddns_update: 1
It used to work in the past. Not sure what caused it. I have updated to the latest Merlin build of 380.58 and the issue still persists. I am using an RT-AC68U.
